The spider is also said to have been improved. In addition, the T2 now relies on a handmade titanium-coated double diaphragm capsule, while the sE4400 has a gold-coated double diaphragm capsule. The polar pattern on both is variably switchable between cardioid, omnidirectional, figure-eight and hypercardioid. In addition, there is a low-cut filter at 40 Hz and 80 Hz. For attenuation, there is a pad switch for -10 or -20 dB on both. The microphones each cover a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz. Because both models are also sold as a pair, stereo recordings are even possible. Applications include recording vocals, drums, guitars piano and basses.

Price and availability:

The T2 and the sE4400 will soon be sold individually for 529 euros each, and the pair price is 1099 euros for both.

And what can you learn from an experienced drummer when recording or programming drums? In this interview with Beat, renowned studio drummer Norman Garschke addresses all these questions. For Toontrack, the studied jazz drummer has recorded, among other things, the sound and MIDI library of Superior Drummer 3 as well as grooves for various MIDI packs.
