To give a production that fat, analog sound character, a suitable filter must not be lacking during mixdown, which ideally provides the necessary warmth and coloration with a saturation unit. This is exactly what Eplex7 offers with the free effect plug-in Free Analog filter + Analog distortion, which can be used preferably for synthesizers, drums, guitars and sum mixes. Thanks to SSE / SSE2 processing, reduced CPU consumption is ensured without loss of sound quality.

The parameters available are the cutoff frequency control and resonance, as well as the distortion pot. The saturation ranges from light saturation to strong distortion. The input and output signal can be regulated separately. The dual oversampling is used to reduce digital artifacts. If necessary, the effect signal can also be deactivated via bypass. The preset browser provides nine settings.
