Creative sound design tutorial with Dune 3 by Synapse Audio

Synapse Audio has initiated a video tutorial page together with sound designer Demis Hellen for the synthesizer plug-in Dune 3. The episode describes how to generate a polyphonic trance-oriented Layer Sequence preset.

First, as Voice 1, a basic sound of sawtooth waveform with sub-oscillator is generated. Then the lowpass filter is applied before the cutoff frequency is modulated by the MSEG envelope in the modulation matrix. In the MSEG envelope settings, a rhythmized sequence is loaded from presets, which is now assigned to the filter cutoff.
