New MIDI controllers from Alesis with MPC-software

Alesis has released three velocity-sensitive MIDI controller keyboards, available in 25-key (V25 MKII), 49-key (V49 MKII), or 61-key (V61 MKII) versions as required. The portable, lightweight USB keyboards each feature eight velocity-sensitive, LED-backlit pads, as well as four individually assignable pots for parameters of virtual instruments or a DAW. The obligatory pitch and modulation wheels are also on board.

The arpeggiator with its six modes and the control options Tap Tempo, Time Division, Gate and Swing should provide for playing variations. The up and down keys allow access to the full octave range. A comprehensive software package is included for quick implementation of your own compositions, including the MPC Beats software package including cross-genre MPC Beats Expansion Packs. Another benefit is compatibility with iOS devices.



Price and availability

All three MIDI controllers can be purchased now for 108 Euro (V25 MKII) or 132 Euro (V49 MKII), and 180 Euro for the top model V61 MKII.
