Sequencing plug-in with Ableton support from Devicemeister

With StepicVST, Devicemeister has created an extensive polyphonic step sequencer that combines the components modulation and sequencing. In addition to the step sequencer there are eight tracks that serve the modulation. For example, the filter cutoff, wavetable position, or effect intensity can be modulated. By assigning different tempos and sequence lengths, it should be possible to create deep, polyrhythmic parameter progressions for more sound movements.

Another special feature is the pattern system, with which up to 16 patterns and up to 4096 steps can be programmed. Various scales can be used to support the programming of harmonies. Thanks to Stepic for Live, there is also direct support for the DAW Ableton Live. Different chords can be defined per step via Chord Play. The more than 200 random functions should contribute to even more variety. To facilitate the workflow, the sequences can be copied and pasted via Clipboard.



Price and availability

StepicVST is sold for 39 euros. The plugin is offered in VST and AU format.
