AVID Pro Tools Sketch

Quickly develop song sketches with Pro Tools Sketch

To bring musical ideas to life instantly, Avid has introduced the Pro Tools Sketch extension for the latest update to its Pro Tools 2023.9 DAW. Pro Tools Sketch is designed to create clip-based sketches in which loops, MIDI and recordings can be freely organized and played back. These can then be exported to share with friends or to move directly into the Pro Tools timeline.

Both beginners and professionals can work out ideas quite comfortably. Pro Tools Sketch is equipped with 16 tracks and an unlimited number of scenes. For sound material, 1 GB of loops and a variety of integrated effects for various music genres are waiting. Audio and MIDI loops can be previewed in the browser, edited and incorporated into the song arrangement.

In addition, the Export Selected Range function has been added in Pro Tools 2023.9, with which selected parts of the timeline can be exported as a new session.
