u-He Uhbik 2

10 effects in one plug-in from u-He

After recently releasing a beta version for testing, the sound engineers at u-He have officially released Uhbik 2, a comprehensive update for their multi-effect plug-in. The update is not only noticeable in the new user interface, which is scalable up to 300%, but also in the revised DSP architecture and expanded functions. The effects suite is suitable for mixing and sound design and includes ten individual effects, including ambience, delay, compressor, runciter, equalizer, grainshift, shifter, flanger, phaser, and tremolo.

The versatile effects system also supports surround sound up to 7.1, as well as a flexible modulation system with editable envelopes. New multi-wave LFOs have been added for modulation. A powerful 128-step mapper/sequencer with drag-and-drop matrix is also included. In addition, the preset browser has been modernized.

Price and availability:

The upgrade is free for existing registered owners of Uhbik 1. For everyone else, Uhbik 2 is available now for $249. The plug-in supports formats such as CLAP, AUv2, VST3, and AAX.
