Groove Synthesis releases free software: 3rd Wave Terminal

A piano roll editor also makes it easy to edit internal sequences. The new sound-design capabilities are particularly extensive: wavetables can be generated from imported audio files such as WAV, AIFF, MP3, or MP4 and edited graphically. The multisample editor also supports numerous audio formats without the need for prior conversion and allows up to eight samples to be assigned via the keyboard.

Price and availability:

3rd Wave Terminal is now available for free. It requires a 3rd Wave 24K, 24M, or 8M with firmware OS 2.0d or later and a USB connection. For more information, visit Groove Synthesis.
