Success story: BIMM graduate secures Netflix dubbing contract

Elias Melkersen, aka Fig Tape, graduated from BIMM University Berlin in 2022 with a degree in music production and signed a sync deal with Netflix this year. His song "Favors", part of his bachelor thesis, can be heard in the soundtrack of the series Young Royals. Elias combines the sounds of the Berlin electronic scene with indie pop and Nordic melodies.
