Arturia KeyLab Essential mk3

Controller keyboard with fat software package from Arturia

Arturia has updated its KeyLab Essential controller keyboards to the mk3 series. Visually, it is noticeable that the latest generation is more rounded. The KeyLab Essential mk3 is available with 49 or 61 keys. The proven operating concept with the eight pads and nine encoders and faders has been adopted. But compared to the previous models, there is a larger display (now with 2.5 inches), as well as new creative functions such as the scale mode, chord play, the arpeggiator (with presets) and the hold function.

There are also now two banks for the RGB-lit pads and improved integration of Arturia software instruments. The pedal input is multifunctional (choice of sustain, footswitch or expression). Also new is the expanded software package with the in-house collection Analog Lab V, as well as Ableton Live Lite as DAW and NI The Gentleman, UVI Model D, Loopcloud & Melodics). Thanks to preconfigured DAW scripts for Ableton Live, Logic Pro, FL Studio, Cubase and Bitwig Studio, quick integration is no problem.
