Steinberg SpectraLayers Pro 10

Isolate single tracks from the mix with Steinberg

For a decade, SpectraLayers from Steinberg has proven itself as a specialist for detailed audio restoration and post-production. Recently, version 10 was released, in which artificial intelligence plays an increasingly important role. Particularly noteworthy is the Unmix function, which extracts from a finished mix, various instruments as individual signals. Up to six tracks can be separated from an overall mix.

It is also possible to demix multichannel audio. In addition, the existing tools for reverb reduction and voice denoising have been modernized. Reverb matching now cooperates with EQ matching to better control acoustic spaces. Speech denoising not only has time advantages, but there is also transcription with up to nine languages. Another innovation is the chaining of multiple VST-3 plug-ins as an effects chain. Simultaneous import of multiple audio files is also supported.
